kinda getting over guzman. it was my hXc phase of the food world, now moving into the arcade fire of the food world phase, looking forward to the years to come

Tom and perhaps Luke, I reckon you would dig these articles my London cum grenade Sam writes for this web magazine

it's basically about grifting / scavenging for articles of food that can be found in public with a bit of effort. theres articles on mushrooms, oysters, fennel and ramsons, making moonshine, building a smoker from scratch, making traps to illegally fish for crawfish in the boonies near Hackney etc

http://www.mintmagazine.co.uk/?s=skull+gang+foraging+club

always brings a smile when it pops up in my feed

I had a peek at the Banh Mi from that Viet Bakery you suggested on Monday, Dan. I was full of bagel but I plan on eating on as soon as possible.

Lunch was 12 buffalo style wings from local establishment The Yardbyrd. They sucked. Couldn't finish, should have bought 6 instead.

Dinner was pho rare beef noodle soup from Pho Hoang Gia. Great place. Consistent.

Breakfast was nothing. Pretty keen for a solid lunch, didn't pack anything today.

I made a multi-meat stew on Sunday, froze it straight after dinner, and then re-heated it last night and finished it off. And I've given myself bitty food poisoning. Rough night.

I have eaten some questionable shit, some unknown origin way out of date bottom of the freezer bullshit and I've always been fine. Something's amiss. The worst part of it all is that I can't pinpoint the offending meat so they might all have to sit out the next few weeks while I overcome post traumatic stew disorder SadSadSad

Breakfast burrito feat. 3 eggs, 2 rashers short cut bacon, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic and herb salt, cayenne and cracked pepper. Fresh coriander and baby spinach.

Lunch was sandwich I prepared in a special Tupperware brand container that I shared with friends at the beach while listening to Australia wipe out the Saffers.

Dinner will be Japanese at Cha Chas. The food is consistently good... Once you eventually get it.
