Had a delicious lazy Sunday BBQ with friends followed by an impromptu visit to a dessert establishment in New Farm/Valley area... I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, I want to say Freshjive?

I had the chocolate pudding with dark & white chocolate sauce. Very tasty.

Also had some of the chocolate macadamia nut brownie which was smothered in dark chocolate sauce. Tasty.

Presentation was delightful. I'd like to go back and sample the other things on the menu very soon.

Freestyle! The place was called Freestyle.

I've been slacking off on the pub steak lunches lately so I decided to step it up on this here pay day. Went to Cafe East and had a succulent rib eye fillet cooked to a spot on medium-rare. Chips were a little undercooked but seasoned to perfection. Avocado salad was also of notable mention.

Had sausages, bacon & eggs a few hours ago, and just had 2 chicken 'n' cheese toasted sandwiches.

Have also eaten a few too many donuts, flapjacks & "yum yums".

Dinner was 2X veg burgers feat: home brand wholemeal bread; hummus; tofuti, 'pepper sauce' (bbq sauce); betroot; fried baked beans; lettuce and patty (chunky arsed patties made out of mushed lentils, beans, carrot etc, not those shitty thin soy ones).

I herbed up a crumb mixture with oregano, 'bush spices', salt and pepper. Used it to crumb up some mushrooms. Had said mushrooms with a side of roast sweet potato and onion which I baked covered in sweet chilly sauce (haters gon' hate).

Excellent impromptu feast ol bin grub!
