ok. so this came up when we were drinking on saturday night..... or some other time in the recent past....

situation: you don't eat for a day and then drink that night. so after 2 drinks or whatever.. you're already feeling it a bit... but if you had have eaten well.. you wouldnt be feeling it yet. so.. in these cases... is your BAC level different for each? because ur drinkin on an empty stomach, will ur BAC be higher if you get pulled over???

I was thinking yes.. but then.. when you've been drinking.. they always say that eating a heap of flood/bla bla wont do anything to sober you up quicker/reduce ur BAC....

I dunno.

thoughts?

ps. if it is the case that ur BAC will always be the same even if u've eaten nothing all day or eaten 3 horses... then fuck.. I'm not gonna eat again and have 2 drinks and feel smashed but then drive home with a safe BAC level !!! WOOT WOOT

your BAC will be higher if u havent eaten. this is due to the fact that the food slows down the digestive process or something (understandably) and somehow slows how quickly your blood absorbs the alcohol. oi dont know the exact explanation, but that is the basic idea I think.[/u]

ok.. so thats why eating after you've been drinking doesnt really sober u up (with respect to BAC) because the alcohols already in ur bloodstream. bla bla.

Hey Jamie, I found Atom & His Package's 'Hamburgers' EP on the college network...good stuff. Finally I found someone on the network who isn't just sharing Creed, Foo Fighters, etc.

Haha, nice work.

'I'm Downright Amazed at What I Can Destroy with Just a Hammer' is a top quality Atom track.
